Hey. I’m McKenna (she/her), and I’m so glad you are here!

I get it, finding a therapist can be tough. You can learn more about me below!

Me as a Therapist

People I work with often feel exhausted by constant worry, looping thoughts, or the urge to seek reassurance just to get a moment of relief. If you are struggling with repetitive thoughts that go against your values, or anxiety that feels like too much to manage on your own, you are not alone. My practice focuses on providing therapeutic support for clients experiencing anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), life transitions, and identity exploration. We will work together to rebuild your confidence and face your fears.

Therapy sessions with me are collaborative and rooted in curiosity, with space to slow down, sort through what’s coming up, and reconnect with what matters most to you. For folks working with OCD or anxiety, our meetings may include gradually facing feared thoughts or situations, practicing resisting reassurance or compulsions, and building tolerance for uncertainty in a supportive, paced way, using evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). We will work together to identify your strengths, celebrate your identity, and find the support systems that really work for you.

As a human, I am very much inspired by nature and viewing life through a lens of curiosity and creativity. A life motto that I have for myself is, “Follow the curiosity”. This philosophy has changed my approach to life and allowed me to lean into my intuition. I show up with that same mindset to my therapy work with clients as well. Our work together will be rooted in curiosity, creative solutions, and a deep trust in your intuition and knowledge of yourself. I have the honor of helping people embrace their truest selves and move through the world in a way that “fills their cup”!

Whether you’re feeling stuck or striving to grow, I offer a collaborative space where you can process out loud, explore creatively, and build the life you actually want to live.

Who am I outside of the therapy room?

Outside the therapy room, you might find me hiking, climbing, making music, knitting, traveling, or spending time with friends and family. I’m always on the go and often trying something new because curiosity often gets the best of me!

I am a creative at heart and deeply believe that so much healing can be found in the process of creating something new.
